Foam Brushes in different sizes. Traditionally a foam applicator is used in Decoupage to spread a thin layer of medium but it is a wonderful painting tool in the classroom:
- Young learners will not be able to control the amount of stess they place on a foam applicator, but with patience they will be able to use a foam applicator to spread an evene layer of Teddy Dye over a wax or oil pastel drawing - the perfect tool for applying dye and create a Wax Resist. - Using a Redimix Paint and Junior Acrylic Paint (not thick Acrylic Paint - unless watered down) a Foam Applicator is perfect to cover large areas (Background) with a layer of paint.
- An easy and economical way to introduce learners to Printmaking - use Dala Construction Glue 125ml bottle with spout, draw a simple design with the glue onto thick cardboard, let dry overnight and you have a Print Block. Apply Redimix paint over the glue lines, place a paper ligtly on the block, smooth paper down ligtly and you have a Glue Print - more info contact Antoinette!
